Hundreds of parcels have been destroyed after two fires broke out on lorries this morning along the M25.
TJ Cottis Transport said they carried out a clean-up operation after the fires broke out, with photos of hundreds of parcels alongside the motorway circulating online.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: ‘The M25 has been blocked both ways between J27 (Epping) and J26 (WalthamAbbey) due to a lorry fire. Updates to follow.’
Traffic is also currently closed anti-clockwise between J28 and J27 in Essex because of another fire.
Essex Police are on the scene right now, with National Highways Management working to help ease traffic.
Drivers are facing around 72 minutes of delays, with about five miles of congestion currently on the road.

The highways authority said the road will close fully from around 10pm for emergency resurfacing works.
Essex Police said: ‘We’re continuing to work with emergency services partners at the scene of a serious collision on the M25.
‘There is a closure in place on the anti-clockwise road between junction 27 and 28 whilst work continues.
‘We know this will cause disruption, but this is important work and we’d urge motorists to please find alternative routes.’
